Our Easter 'days out' programme
All trips are costed at £12:00 adult, £9:00 child (upto but not exceeding 12 years old), return coach fare. Entry into some attractions costs extra*.
- Mon 17th of March - Bakewell Market and Derbyshire tour, including a stop at Chatsworth House*.
- Wed 19th of March - Lake District Tour to include Kendal Market, Ambleside and Grasmere villages.
- Fri 21st of March - Llandudno, returning via Betwys y Coed.
- Sat 22nd of March - Shropshire Tour to include Shrewsbury Town and Market.
- Mon 24th of March - Rhyl Sun Centre*, a great day out for all!
- Thu 27th of March - Ripon Market and historic and beautiful Fountains Abbey*, returning through the Dales.

We spend the morning at the world famous Bury Market before travelling to Oswaldtwistle Mill. One for the shopaholics among you, just remember to bring the other half's wallet!

East Lancashires answer for the shop till you drop crowd. On its newly located and massively extended premises you will find every major brand of fashion clothing, footwear, and accessories abound plus excellent cafes and restaurants.

CHORLEY MARKET & BOTANY BAY

The choice is endless. As well as the traditional 'flatiron' market there is also the newly refurbished and extended indoor market. We then transfer you to Botany Bay Mill, a treasure trove for antique hunters, local crafts and other bric a brac. Also a large indoor childrens play area.

SKIPTON MARKET & HAWORTH

Enjoy the busy open market, the cobbled streets and hidden ginnels with quaint unusual shops to be explored. Mid afternoon we transfer to haworth, famous for its Bronte connection, cafes, bookshops and olde world shops reflecting the charm of yesteryear.

Historic York,birthplace of Guy Fawkes, final haunt of Dick Turpin,home to the wonderful Minster,shops, alleyways, museums, cafes and restaurants, boat trips on the Ouse this city has it all, even boasting the largest gathering of steam locomotives in the country!
To complete a memorable day out we return via the spa town of Harrogate with its elegant shopping parades amidst the vast tracts of parkland before heading for home.

YORKSHIRE DALES TOUR

A superb day out for lovers of the countryside, passing through picturesque villages set amidst sweeping limestone dale landscapes. Calling at Grassington, we move on through Upper Wharfedale to the lovely Aysgarth Falls before heading for the market town of Hawes with its famous Wensleydale Creamery and Cheesemaking factory.Returning home through the soft stone villages of Ribblesdale.

LAKE DISTRICT (NORTHERN TOUR)

We go directly to the Rheged Centre a unique underhill complex displaying Cumbrian arts, crafts, and local produce. Onto nearby Ullswater Lake where you have the option to travel the length of this most beautiful lake aboard one of the lakes steamers. At Glenridding we collect those that opted for the cruise and travel on to Keswick, a bustling market town. We then begin our move south, calling at Grasmere village where you can relax in its leafy environs for a while before making our way home.

LAKE DISRICT (SOUTHERN TOUR)

Travelling via Grange over Sands where we have a short break, before moving on to Cartmel with its famous Priory and even more famous 'sticky toffee' pudding shop. On to Haverthwaite where you can take the option of a steam train ride to Lakeside thenm catch the boat to Bowness. There you can relax beside the lake, browse the town with its many shops,cafes and restaurants. We return home from Bowness in the late afternoon.

NORTH WALES TOUR
Thur. 19th. August, Tues. 31st. August
We go across the rolling moorlands of Denbighshire on to Betws y coed where we stop to allow time to explore. At noon we travel up the scenic Conwy valley to Llandudno with its mild climate under the Great Orme headland. For the children the pier with its leisure facilities, punch and judy, small boat trips, cable car etc. The less boiserous can relax on the promenade or enjoy browsing through the shops on the main parade. A relaxing and enjoyable day for all.

MID WALES TOUR
WED. 11th. August, Sun. 5th. September
We travel via Oswestry and Welshpool on the Welsh Marches Borders on to historic Powys Castle, former home of Clive of India, set in beautiful gardens where for a modest charge you can stroll and even enjoy a welsh tea in the trusts cafe. In the early afternoon we return via Llangollen with its beautiful river setting and steam railway and horse drawn canal boats, cafes and shops. We return home via the dramatic Horseshoe Pass. A varied and rewarding day out.

DERBYSHIRE DALES TOUR

A journey through the undulating green pastures and hill of Derbyshire. Our first stop is at the plague village of Eyam , then onto Bakewell home of the famous pudding and finally into Buxton a spa town of renown and antique shops before wending our weary way home.
